- Well, no. With Win95 and OS/2 you have to chose your priorities right,
- just like with AmigaOS, to get continous play. Obviously those programs
- that do stop playing did not chose the priorities right.
- With Linux (and UNIX in general) you do not have means to force
- appropriate priorities unless you write a driver and the traditional
- solution is to use larger buffers. Obviously this just shifts the
- problem out of sight until the machine load becomes too high.
